Auto check-in elderly care app
Inactivity alert for elderly parents without invading their privacy
How does our elderly monitoring app work?
Our app runs silently in the background on your parent’s smartphone, monitoring normal daily device activity (like unlocking the screen, using apps, or moving the phone). If the phone hasn’t been touched or moved for 24 hours, you get an immediate inactivity alert. It’s the simplest way to check on an elderly parent!
You will know if something seems unusual

You will not become a surveillance-heavy helicopter child

You do not need to call every day just to check basic activity
The app is simple enough to set up once and forget

Only receive an alert if the phone appears inactive for a long period.
It is cheaper and lighter than full monitoring systems

I am the elderly parent, and I can say I feel a lot better now knowing my son does not have to worry about me and that my pets are always taken care of.
Got my mom set up on Parents are OK. it just checks if she uses her phone, no creepy GPS tracking.
This app is simple, but honestly, that’s why I like it. It just tells me if my mum’s phone has been inactive too long.
I like that my mum doesn’t have to report anything. The app just runs in the background and alerts me if something looks wrong.
Easy to use and does just what i want. No nonsense, did not see any commercials and, most importantly, no additional hassle for the parents. Just the one-time installation hassle.

About Me
Hi! I’m Razvan, co-founder, parent, and child
I live in Portugal, while my mother lives in Romania, alone with her two dogs and one cat. She is active, independent, always working, always helping someone, and often caring for street cats and dogs. She does not need to be watched, tracked, or treated like she cannot manage her own life.
But living in different countries leaves one fear in the back of my mind: if something serious happened, how long would it take before I knew? And what would happen to the animals who depend on her every day? “Parents are OK: Senior Safety” came from that exact thought. It gives families a quiet alert if a parent’s phone shows no activity for 24 hours — without GPS, cameras, location tracking, or daily check-ins.
A PRIVATE ALTERNATIVE FOR ELDERLY CARE
Unlike traditional senior care solutions, we don’t require expensive hardware, clunky smartwatches, or intrusive home camera systems. “AgeTech” shouldn’t mean spying. We offer a frictionless check-in app alternative. No “helicopter child” dynamics, just a simple notification if something seems unusual.
